        <p>The final list of nominees for the nine Pwnie Award categories is
        finally <a href="http://pwnie-awards.org/2008/awards.html">published</a>.
        We've received some really good submissions and it was not an easy task
        to narrow them down to five nominees per category, but we hope that
        we've done a good job. The next step for the Pwnie Awards judges will
        gather in an undisclosed location prior to the award ceremony and vote
        on the winners.</p>

        <p>We're thrilled with the great response the Pwnie Awards have
        received this year. The number of nomination submissions far exceeded
        our expectations. We got 134 submissions (including only three SQL
        injection attempts but a surprising number of Best Song entries) and it
        will take us an extra day or two to process them all. The list of
        nominations will be published shortly.</p>

	<title>Nominations open for the Pwnie Awards 2008</title>

        <p>It is time to open the nominations for the Pwnie Awards 2008. We
        invite all members of the security community to look back at the past
        year and nominate all great bugs, lame vendors, amazing research and
        more. The full list of award categories can be found at the

        page. In 2008 we are introducing two new awards: Pwnie for Most Epic
        FAIL and a Lifetime Achievement Award for hackers over 30.</p>

	<title>The Pwnie Awards return to BlackHat USA in 2008</title>

        <p>The Pwnie Awards ceremony will take place again during the BlackHat
        USA reception on August 6, 2008. Last year's inagural event was a lot
        of fun, and we hope it will only get better. What should you expect
        from this year's ceremony? Exciting new categories, inspirational
        acceptance speeches by the winners of the Lamest Vendor Award and a
        special sing-along lead by HD Moore! Stay tuned for more!</p>

	<title>Pwnie Awards Ceremony</title>

        <p>The Pwnie Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, August 1st.
        The location is Palace Ballroom 3 at Caesar's Palace, right next to the
        BlackHat reception area. We'd like to thank BlackHat for their generous
        offer to host the awards.</p>
